Masai Mara Reserve: The Masai Mara Game Reserve is well-known for its incredible big game experiences and extensive selection of luxury safari camps. It is the original safari destination that began the fascination and obsession with Africa; the stories of its legendary game viewing and migrations having been passed down through the generations. Enjoy opportunities for game viewing, cultural interactions, and breathtaking landscapes during your time in this area.

Nairobi: Ranked as Africa’s fourth-largest city, Nairobi exudes vibrancy and excitement. Despite its reputation for brief tourist visits, the city boasts captivating attractions, including a lively café culture, vibrant nightlife, the National Museum, and the intriguing Karen Blixen Museum. Remarkably, a mere 20 minutes from the city center, Nairobi hosts the world’s only urban game reserve, where wild lions and buffalo roam freely.

Victoria Falls: Victoria Falls will take your breath away. Its sheer vastness and power will have you in awe as you walk the paths that span nearly the entirety of the falls. Here you can enjoy touring the falls, helicopter rides over the falls, excellent local market shopping, and beautiful hotels. The wildlife in this area is very used to humans, so as you walk around you will probably see some small antelope or warthogs running around!

Hwange National Park: In the furthest western parts of Zimbabwe lays the country’s largest national park: Hwange National Park. This national park is known as one of the largest sanctuaries for elephants and cape buffalo in Africa. During your day game drives across the sandy soils, acacia woodlands, teak forests, and grass savannahs you may come across large herds of elephants, lumbering black rhino, and predators on the move such as lions, leopard, and cheetah. Night drives may reveal rare sighting of serval cats, civet cats, and bat-eared fox!

Masai Mara Reserve:

Giraffe Manor: Giraffe Manor in Kenya is a truly enchanting experience, blending luxury with wildlife interaction in a unique and historical setting. Nestled in the heart of Nairobi, this iconic boutique hotel allows guests to share their breakfast with the resident giraffes that freely roam the estate, creating unforgettable and up-close encounters. Victoria Falls:

Elephant Camp: This is considered one of the finest luxury lodges in Zimbabwe! The intimate, 4-suite camp is in the midst of the Victoria Falls National Park and looks out to the Zambezi Gorges where the spray from Victoria Falls lingers in the air. With each suite having a private plunge pool set in the large viewing deck with lounge chairs and dining table overlooking the jungle, lounge space within the suite, and beautifully detailed ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, it is no wonder the camp has the accolades it does! The main lodge has a sunken fire pit, swimming pool, lounge area, and dining area (where you will eat your fantastic meals!) also overlooking the jungle and out to the gorges.

Starting at $15,001 to $20,000 per person.

Since every itinerary is custom designed for you and your group, pricing may vary based on year booked, accommodations chosen, change in activities, and adjustments to the itinerary. All costs will be shared with you during the safari planning process – we don’t like surprise expenses ourselves, so we don’t want them for you!

Trip Insurance & Cancellation Info

Trip insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment on this trip. We will assist you with trip insurance upon booking. See links at the bottom of this page for the two providers we suggest for our clients.

Family Expeditions Safaris, LLC confirmation and refund policy:

If your trip is more than 90 days out from date of departure, a 30% non-refundable deposit confirms your reservation and must be received within 10 days of booking to confirm your dates. All trips must be paid in full at least 120 days prior to the departure date. If your trip date is within 120 days, FULL payment for the trip is required. All payments to Family Expeditions Safaris are non-refundable. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your trip, we will do everything in our power to assist you in finding a suitable substitute or transferring your dates per the lodge/providers/government requirements. Trip insurance protects your investment!
