Sample Itinerary
Cape Town: Cape Town is known for its shopping, night life, botanical garden, waterfront, Table Mountain and history. From leisurely strolls along pristine white sand beaches to exploring the dramatic cliffs of Cape Point and the vibrant blooms of Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. Enhancing the experience, boutique hotels provide a perfect retreat, ensuring a combination of luxury, breathtaking views, and unforgettable moments in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
Wine Country: Imagine this: sitting back in a lounge chair with a glass of wine in your hand, a vast, lush valley lined by mountain peaks sweeping out in front of you. This is the experience of the South Africa wine country! It is easily the most beautiful landscape of the country with quaint villages, historic towns, and whimsical homesteads spotted throughout. You may go to wine and chocolate tastings, cellar tours on grand estates, golfing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, touring the main cities such as Stellenbosch, and enjoy lunches on terraces and dinners at beautiful restaurants.
Garden Route: The beautiful South Africa Garden Route is not to be missed. The “route” refers to the scenic and quaint drive from Cape Town across the coastline to Port Elizabeth. During this tour you will stop in adorable cities such as Plettenburg and Knysa where you will find beautiful boutique hotels, delightful restaurants and culture, and show-stopping beach views.
Greater Kruger National Park: The Greater Kruger National Park is home to lions, elephants, rhino, cape buffalo, cheetah, leopard, giraffes, and so much more. You will be staying in lodges on private concessions adjoining Kruger National Park. Why a private concession? Because you will enjoy the wildlife of Kruger without the number of tourists. Nothing is worse than pulling up to an amazing animal viewing only to be blocked by twenty other vehicles! In private reserves, you will have much more access to the animals you want to see. The number of vehicles at sightings is limited giving you a more intimate experience with nature. Kruger is the best place in Southern Africa for the opportunity to see the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard) and the other incredible species of the area!
Victoria Falls: Victoria Falls will take your breath away. Its sheer vastness and power will have you in awe as you walk the paths that span nearly the entirety of the falls. Here you can enjoy touring the falls, helicopter rides over the falls, excellent local market shopping, and beautiful hotels. The wildlife in this area is very used to humans, so as you walk around you may see some small antelope or warthogs running around!
Okavango Delta: The remote Okavango Delta in Botswana is one of the most fertile and unique ecosystems of Southern Africa. It is a sprawling river delta filled with vivacious wildlife, lush, reed-lined waterways, and breathtaking experiences. During your time in the Delta, you may enjoy land driven game drives, boat driven game drives through the waterways, canoe safaris (Mokoros) through the marshes and lily covered lagoons, and scenic helicopter rides. Each viewing experience will give you unique ways to see the wildlife, whether it is by mokoro to see the small reed frogs, by boat watching elephants crossing the river, or experiencing a lion’s stalk on a crocodile up close.
