Victoria Falls: Victoria Falls will take your breath away. Its sheer vastness and power will have you in awe as you walk the paths that span nearly the entirety of the falls. Here you will enjoy touring the falls, helicopter rides over the falls, excellent local market shopping, and beautiful hotels. The wildlife in this area is very used to humans, so as you walk around you will probably see some small antelope or warthogs running around!

Chobe River Boats: Imagine this: you are staying in luxury house boat accommodations with attentive staff, enjoying incredible food and drink, and every time you look out your windows you might see a new view of elephants, lions, hippos, and more lounging and drinking along a glistening river. This is the Chobe Houseboat experience. The houseboat is a 5-star boat that floats down the Chobe River providing you with one of the most unique accommodation experiences in all of Africa.

Zambezi Region: The Caprivi (Zambezi) Strip is the smallest yet one of the most magical places in Namibia because of the powerful rivers flowing through it, creating a rich ecological and cultural area. While it is only 20 miles wide, it is home to giants – elephants, lions, hippo, cape buffalo, leopard, and more. Between the three national parks located in this strip, you can have incredible wildlife viewing rivaled by no other in Namibia!

Hakusembe River Oasis: Visiting Hakusembe River Oasis in Botswana is a tranquil escape along the banks of the Kavango River, offering a perfect blend of serenity and natural beauty. Okonjima Private Reserve: In between Windhoek and Etosha National Park, nestled in the Omboroko Mountains and Acacia trees, lays the family-run Okonjima Nature Reserve. The reserve is best known for its leopard, brown hyaena, and pangolin sightings. Home to the Africat Foundation, the reserve provides a chance to witness rehabilitated big cats, including leopards and cheetahs, in their natural environment. Guests at Okonjima can enjoy exclusive game drives, superb lodging options, and the satisfaction of contributing to the preservation of Namibia’s majestic wildlife.

Etosha National Park: Etosha National Park will give you a look into a side of Africa rarely seen. Its vast, desert climate has produced an eco-system unlike the savannahs you may picture when you think of Africa. Here you will find watering holes surrounded by incredible numbers of various species of game during the dry season from June to October. The game roam from waterhole to waterhole in search of drinking water. Etosha is known for its flat calcrete depression (or pan) which makes its sands silvery white. This park is also the home to the largest number of black rhinos in the world.

Windhoek: Windhoek is the capital of Namibia and is its largest and most urban city. It has good shopping, restaurants, hotels with rooftop bars, spas, and a bustling business life. Some of its highlights are the Namibia Craft Centre, Klara’s Marketplace for food, the National Art Gallery, and the Independence Memorial Museum.

Victoria Falls: 

Victoria Falls Hotel: A staple of Victoria Falls, this British style hotel has been a beacon of historic luxury and a staple in the Victoria Falls community for decades. From the back lawn you will have beautiful views of the spray coming off Victoria Falls and the famous bridge which crosses over the Zambezi River and spans the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Chobe River Boat:

Since every itinerary is custom designed for you and your group, pricing may vary based on year booked, accommodations chosen, change in activities, and adjustments to the itinerary. All costs will be shared with you during the safari planning process – we don’t like surprise expenses ourselves, so we don’t want them for you!

Family Expeditions Safaris, LLC confirmation and refund policy:

If your trip is more than 90 days out from date of departure, a 30% non-refundable deposit confirms your reservation and must be received within 10 days of booking to confirm your dates. All trips must be paid in full at least 120 days prior to the departure date. If your trip date is within 120 days, FULL payment for the trip is required. All payments to Family Expeditions Safaris are non-refundable. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your trip, we will do everything in our power to assist you in finding a suitable substitute or transferring your dates per the lodge/providers/government requirements. Trip insurance protects your investment!
